Meet your Shape Shifter.

Everyone knows designers don’t have friends, but now you can!

Take care of your Shape Shifter by working directly inside your favorite Adobe design apps. Throughout your workday your Shifter will earn points which can be used to upgrade and unlock new outfits.

Just don’t ever go on vacation, because if you leave your Shape Shifter unattended too long, it will die and you’ll have to hatch a new one.

What people are saying

Gameify your workday.

Most plugins promise to save you time by creating less work.

Shape Shifters is the opposite.

Now you can manage your pet’s health while you manage tight client deadlines — all directly inside your favorite Adobe design app.

There are over 3 million combinations of Shape Shifters. Each one has a unique name and needs a special owner to take care of it.

How it works

Hatch an egg

Hatch an egg and meet your randomly generated Shape Shifter with a unique name and look.

There are over 2.5 million combinations of Shape Shifters.

Earn pixels

While you work with the plugin open, you level up and earn pixels which can be used to purchase upgrades (evolutions).

Mods

Upgrade your Shifter with special upgrades called mods.

Daily Outfits

Check back daily to earn new outfit layers.

It’s like a daily standup that doesn’t suck.

Real time life

Your Shifter lives (and dies) in real time. It will lose health even if the app is closed.

So think twice about taking your PTO!

Perma-death

If your creature is neglected and dies, it will lose all of it’s cosmetics and a new fresh egg will appear in it’s place.

Sound stressful? It is. But that’s life.

 FAQs

  • Nothing useful. It’s a game and creates more work for you in the end.

  • If your shifter is neglected at zero health for too long, it will die permanently and all earned cosmetics will be lost.

Then, you must hatch a new egg and start again.

This is to encourage workers to take less time off, and spend more time being productive.

  • No idea. It works on my Macbook Air M1.

  • I don’t think so, but I have no idea.

  • If the plugin makes enough money, yes.

  • Keep it to yourself please!

Unless it’s very important, then please email me via the contact form.

  • Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

While it works in multiple apps, please only have one instance running at a time, otherwise unexpected issues may arise.
